Mohammed al-Zawaidah is the owner of the camp and belongs to a Bedouin tribe located in the Wadi Rum Protected Area. The property was set up in 2019 and gets updated every year during summer when we close the camp for a few weeks in order to renew our facilities. Mohammed and his team are experts on the history and geography of Wadi Rum. With their tours and hospitality, they are taking care of every guest ready to enjoy the adventurous desert.

In the middle of the Waid Rum Protected Area, our camp & resort has a private set-up with only 17 solid suites and studios, each with its private terrace, panorama view, and private bathroom. We are located in the pleasant shadow of a mountain, which includes our private sandboard area that can be used anytime for free. There are only a few spots in Wadi Rum from where you can see the sunrise and sunset as well as the Milky Way so easily like at our place. Use our telescope to watch the sky during a clear night and enjoy our outside terrace with a bonfire or our stunning panorama restaurant where we serve traditional Bedouin Zarb prepared in our sand oven every evening. Free water and tea during your stay are guaranteed as well as eco-friendly facilities run by solar panels. If you want to discover more of the desert, join us for a camel ride or a jeep tour, or do a hike to the highest mountain in Jordan, our lovely team is looking forward to welcoming you!

Surrounded by rocky mountains, below the Milky Way and between sunrise and sunset, you can fully immerse into the mesmerizing nature and views Wadi Rum is so famous for at Desert Magic Camp & Resort. Our private parking lot is in the village Disah from where we will pick you up and drop you off with our 4x4 Jeeps in order to enjoy the desert to the fullest at our isolated spot in the Wadi Rum Protected Area. You can take a walk around or up our mountain or book a Jeep tour with us to discover the most stunning spots in the desert, the more time you have, the more you will be able to see of this magical spot on earth.
