Our property is a preserved 70-year-old typical Japanese house, offering a rare opportunity to experience authentic local life without sacrificing modern comfort. Boasting a very spacious 123 square meters (1,320 sq ft), this expansive home provides plenty of room for you to relax. Step inside and be greeted by the calming scent of natural tatami mats and the rustic charm of old Japan. We have thoughtfully furnished the house with comfortable Western-style beds (traditional Japanese futons are provided for groups of three or more) and a proper dining table with chairs. You can fully immerse yourself in the beautiful Japanese aesthetic without the physical strain of sitting or sleeping on the floor. Furthermore, we have carefully updated the house with high-speed Wi-Fi, modern air conditioning, and renovated, spotless bathroom and toilet facilities. This exceptional location makes our property the perfect "base camp" for your entire Kansai adventure. While Kyoto and Osaka are fantastic and lively cities to explore, choosing Nara as your hub offers a peaceful retreat away from the urban hustle. With direct trains from the nearby stations, you can reach the heart of Kyoto or Osaka in just 45 to 50 minutes. You can easily take day trips to these popular destinations and return to the tranquility of our spacious traditional home to relax at night. Furthermore, staying overnight in Nara gives you the ultimate privilege: the "early morning magic." You can take a morning stroll to the historic Naramachi district, Nara Park, and Todai-ji Temple before the day-trippers arrive from other cities. Experiencing the majestic temples and meeting the sacred roaming deer in the quiet morning mist is truly unforgettable. The neighborhood itself is fantastic.
