On Ishigaki Island’s west coast, Beach Hotel Sunshine Ishigakijima offers an outdoor pool, sun deck with sea views and 2 restaurants. Rooms also come with a view of lush nature of the island or an ocean view looking out to Taketomi and Iriomote islands. The outdoor swimming pool is open all year round. However, there is no life guard between October and March and it is not a heated pool. Please enjoy swimming at your own responsibility. The rooms at Sunshine Beach Hotel have a tropical feel, decorated with bright colors. Each includes a flat-screen TV, a fridge and a private bathroom. The hotel is a 30-minute drive from New Ishigaki Airport, and a 15-minute walk to Kannonzaki viewpoint. Ishigaki Cave is about a 20-minute drive away. Rental bicycles are available. Umibeno Terrace Naminouta overlooks the ocean and serves charcoal-grilled skewered barbecue dishes. Bogen no Hama is located next to the lobby and offers an international buffet featuring Japanese and Western dishes.
