Sayo town is famous for sunflower fields. You can see Hotaru(Fireflies) in early summer and Morning Mist covers the entire town in the early mornings from late autumn to winter, is famed nationwide. There is Nishi-Harima Astronomical Observatory Center for Astronomy, University of Hyogo in this town. They have the biggest public telescope in Japan called” Nayuta telescope” and you can enjoy innumerable stars and planets.
