This guesthouse was opened in 2022 after being renovated from a villa into a modern one. I have everything I think you would need during a long stay on Yakushima, so I think you will have a comfortable stay. It is about a 15-minute drive to the underwater hot springs that everyone on Yakushima visits, and a large supermarket is just a 5-minute drive away, so it is very convenient for grocery shopping. (There are very few supermarkets on Yakushima where you can buy groceries.) The entire building is available for private use, so you can rent everything from the parking lot to the garden, and you can stay like you are living there.
I love Yakushima and currently run three guesthouses. If you have any questions about your trip to Yakushima, please send me a message and I will answer as soon as possible. I hope to help you make your trip to Yakushima the best memory you can have.
There is a large supermarket about 5 minutes by car from the guesthouse. Also, the few hot springs on Yakushima (Ono-ma Onsen, Yakushima Onsen, Kaichu Onsen, Yudomari Onsen) are all within 5 to 15 minutes by car. The famous scenic spot "Chihiro Falls" is also 15 minutes by car.
