~ About DELTA HOSTEL ~ The name "DELTA" comes from the river delta, where streams flow and converge, creating fertile land. We hope this hostel will be a place where diverse people and ideas come together to create new connections and inspiration. Though we don’t offer hotel-style services, we hope your stay will help you explore Akita’s unique charm, find new work inspiration, or meet interesting people. Feel free to chat with our staff—sometimes, international guests or artists stay with us! ~ About Us ~ DELTA HOSTEL is operated by Outcrop, a film production company based in Akita. The name "Outcrop" comes from geology, meaning when buried minerals or veins are exposed on the Earth's surface. The name reflects our mission to uncover valuable stories hidden in society and share them with the world, creating new movements. We started our filmmaking journey with a documentary called Gifts from Numayama, which tells the story of a long-lost heirloom radish. We now run "Outcrop Cinema," a small theater where we screen films that we believe should be seen by the people of Akita once a month. Additionally, we are involved in running "Atle DELTA," a multifaceted hub where people gather and collaborate. Our office is located on the 4th floor of Atle DELTA, so feel free to say hello if you see us around!

~ Important Information ~ ■ Quadruple Room with Private Bathroom Recommended for 4 guests. Up to 5 guests can stay, but the room may feel compact. ■ Family Room with Shower Recommended for 5 guests. Up to 6 guests can stay. One guest will use a sofa bed when the room is occupied by 6 guests. ~ Kids policy ~ Children of elementary school age and older will be counted as one adult. Preschool children (0~6 years old) may sleep with their parents for free. (except for dormitory rooms). If you would like a separate bed for preschool-aged children instead of sharing a bed, please make a reservation for one adult. ~ Check-in ~ Self-check-in via tablet. Guests arriving between 15:00 and 18:00 are welcome to visit the café on the 1st floor, which also serves as the hostel reception. Check-in is available after 18:00, but staff assistance is not available. Please complete the "Guest Information Request" email after booking. Your Check-in Code will be sent by email around 3:00 PM on the day before arrival. ~ Facility ~ DELTA HOSTEL is located on the 2nd floor of AtleDELTA. • Free Wi-Fi throughout the building • Café on the 1st floor • Coworking space & shared kitchen on the 4th floor (24 hours / Free) ~ Amenities ~ We provide skin- and eco-friendly amenities, including amino acid shampoo, pure soap–based hand soap, body soap, and laundry soap. Please bring your own toothbrush, comb, razor, and sleepwear. ~ Long Stays ~ Daily housekeeping and linen changes are not provided. Guests may request: • Daily towel exchange • Access to cleaning supplies in shared areas For stays of 7+ nights: • Weekly light housekeeping (upon request)

〜About the Surrounding Area〜 DELTA HOSTEL is in a quiet residential area in the Hodono district of Akita City. Right next door, there is a middle school, where you can often see children on their way to school. It’s a peaceful neighborhood. The area has several specialty coffee shops, delicious bakeries, cozy cafés, bookstores, and craft shops, offering a great chance to experience local town life. There is also a supermarket within walking distance, making it easy for you to prepare simple meals. On sunny days, we recommend picking up some fresh coffee and bread from nearby shops and enjoying a relaxing picnic at Senshu Park. We hope you enjoy your stay as if you are living here! 〜Access from JR Akita Station〜 ・25-minute walk from JR Akita Station ・1-minute walk from the "Hara-no-machi" bus stop From the West Exit of Akita Station, board a bus from either platform 8 (for "Kanda Asahino Line", "Soegawa Line", or "Izumi Yabase Circular Line (Izumi route)") or platform 2 (for "Izumi Yabase Circular Line (Yabase route)"). After about 10 minutes, get off at the "Hara-no-machi" bus stop, which is the nearest stop to DELTA HOSTEL. After getting off, walk approximately 40 meters to your left, and you will find DELTA HOSTEL on your right. For the bus schedule, please check the official website of Akita Chuo Kotsu. Enter "Akita Station" as the departure point and "Hara-no-machi" as the arrival point, then select either "Weekdays" or "Weekends and Holidays."
