This unique inn, which is located in the scenic Hanamaki Minami Onsen Gorge, has a history of over 600 years. This inn has been loved by Kenji Miyazawa and Torahiko Tamiya for its 100% natural hot spring water that flows directly from the source. This cozy inn is a representation of its long traditions and various serendipities, making one both nostalgic and curious about the main building's construction which is entirely made of zelkova wood, a rare material to find in modern times
