A breathtaking 70 minute train ride from Kyoto, Furumaya House is the place to be if you want to experience the beauty of the countryside without staying too far from Kyoto City.

We both love traveling and enjoy welcoming guests from all around the world. Nicolas is in charge of outside work including farming, and Sayaka of cooking meals for guests with fresh produces from the garden. Nicolas is a french native from southern France, but we both speak English.
