Cosmos Guesthouse Iya Valley welcomes people from all over the world. Our accommodation is located just a 15-minute walk from JR Oboke Station, where express trains stop. There are supermarkets, cafes and restaurants nearby. Facilities include 1 double room and 1 triple room for guests, all with beds. Old traditional Japanese wooden house with shared western-style toilet and shower room. Free Wi-Fi is also available. We can provide our guests with plenty of ideas for enjoying the area through sightseeing and outdoor sports. You can join our kayaking and hiking tours as part of our activities. Both are half-day experiences for beginners. If you would like to participate, please contact us and we will send you an overview and application form.
We hope you will enjoy sightseeing and hiking in the nature-rich Iya and Oboke valleys. We will also be happy to suggest various recommended places and activities, so please feel free to contact us. As the owner, I also offer kayaking experiences, which I highly recommend.
First of all, you can get various information by going to the roadside station Oboke. There is also a café and souvenir shop on site. The grocery stores that are close to our inn and can be walked to are Boke Mart and Tosaya. Even if you don't have a car, the city bus is very convenient and sightseeing in the Iya Valley is not difficult. And Oboke is also called the sacred place of kayaking. If you want to have that experience, you can also apply. I, the owner, will guide you to the river. In addition, we will pick you up and drop you off at our guest house, so you can feel free to participate.
