After working as a software engineer for an electronics company, I immigrated to Miyako Island, Okinawa in 2018. The interior of the guesthouse was handcrafted through DIY renovation of an ordinary house with volunteers over a period of two years. Having backpacked through 25 countries and regions, our goal was to create a guesthouse that would provide a pleasant stay. I look forward to chatting with you about your travels as well.

Property info

This will be a guesthouse where you can enjoy a high quality and pleasant stay. Our customers range from 20-70 years old, and many are first-time guesthouse guests, solo travelers, and families. The first floor has a 4-meter-high open space, and the shared kitchen is equipped with cooking oil, seasonings, utensils, etc.We designed and clean the interior with special attention to luxury and cleanliness, including the water areas. There are shower rooms and restrooms exclusively for women.All guest rooms are locked with key codes. There are also washing machines available free of charge, including detergent, and hangers & clothes pegs are provided in the guestrooms and outdoors. Regular bicycles are available for rental free of charge. Additionally, electrically power-assisted bicycles can be rented for 1,700 yen per 24 hours or other plans. High-speed Wi-Fi is available for business use, and some guests stay here as a workcation, including online meetings. We will be happy to suggest sights, places to eat, tours, etc., even depending on the weather.

Neighborhood info

Our guesthouse is located in Nishihara village, where the unique folk culture has been passed down from generation to generation, and many people live from fishing and farming. The city center is 4 km away, and Sunayama Beach, famous for its arched rock and sunsets, is 2 km away. There are cafes and grocery stores within walking distance. You can get to the convenience store located 2 km away using free rental bicycles. Ikema Island, which is often the meeting point for diving and snorkeling tours in the popular Yaebise on Miyako Island, can be reached by bus without transfers.
