Thank you for considering to stay at Guesthouse Mio. Our newly-renovated traditional Japanese holiday home is ideal for couples, families or even large groups. When you make a reservation at Guesthouse Mio the entire house is yours to enjoy privately. Guesthouse Mio comprises of two floors so we can easily accommodate up to 8 guests. We are located directly next to ‘Hachimanbori’, (Hachiman Historic Canal). Why not take the opportunity to stay in a traditionally renovated old Japanese house which offers both a superb location as well as modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Our holiday home is within walking distance of all of Omihachiman’s major sightseeing spots such as Himure Shrine, the William Vorries Merrel architectural buildings and the Hachiman Ropeway (where you can get amazing views across Shiga from the summits of the mountain). Lake Biwa is so close to our house too! You can experience ancient Japan here in Omihachiman. We would like you to enjoy our house and treat it like it is your own home. Please spend a memorable and relaxing time here with your friends and family, and with us to happily assist you. We also own and operate En.
