This is "HARAYA", a private rental inn located along the Nakasendo in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture.<br /><br />HARAYA is a retro Showa-style inn that was created by the owner renovating his own family home.<br /><br />A deep stainless steel bathtub, a tiled wash area, slightly steep stairs, and a nostalgic floor plan.<br /><br />It retains the atmosphere of a nostalgic Japanese house, which is now rare.<br /><br />Because it is an old building, the facilities are not like those of a modern hotel, but you can have a relaxing time while experiencing the lifestyle of the Showa era.<br /><br />There is a living room, Japanese-style room, dining kitchen, bathroom/toilet, and one bedroom on the first floor, and there are three bedrooms on the second floor, so you can freely use the four bedrooms.<br /><br />The two Japanese-style rooms on the second floor are adjoining rooms separated by sliding doors, and the layout makes them easy to use for families with children.<br /><br />We also provide spare futons, so it can accommodate up to 10 people.<br /><br />We recommend it not only for family and friends, but also as a base for walking along the Nakasendo.<br /><br />Historic townscape remains around the accommodation, and you can easily enjoy walking along the Nakasendo.<br /><br />Please have a nostalgic time at HARAYA.
