Hoboie is a small guesthouse located on Museum Street in Tsuruga, Fukui. It is housed in a traditional Japanese building that is over 150 years old. We have preserved many of the original wooden beams, pillars and historic features, while creating a comfortable place where travellers can feel a little like home. Hoboie is different from a standard hotel, and some facilities, including the bathrooms, toilets and lounge, are shared. We hope you enjoy the unique atmosphere of this historic house while exploring Tsuruga.

Hello, my name is Yoshi, and I am the host of Hoboie. I aim to provide clear information and a clean, comfortable environment so that guests visiting Tsuruga for the first time can stay with confidence. Please note that staff are not present inside the property at all times, but we will respond as quickly as possible when assistance is required.
