Featuring free Wi-Fi throughout, a coin launderette and a shared-use kitchen, the entirely nonsmoking J Hoppers Guest house is a 10-minute walk to the Atomic Bomb Dome. Opened in 2006, it has simple air-conditioned rooms with shared bathrooms. Guests at J Hoppers Hiroshima Guest house can sleep in a bunk bed in a dormitory-style room, or experience a private Japanese room with traditional bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Towels can be rented, and the dorm room has lockers. The hostel is a 3-minute walk from Dobashi Tram Station and a 5-minute walk to Peace Memorial Park. Miyajima Island, with the famous Itsukushima Shrine, is a 45-minute tram ride away. Bicycle hire is possible. The lounge has an LCD TV with international channels, as well as free coffee/tea. Luggage can be stored and a free-use internet PC is provided. Guests can hang out on the roof terrace. No meals are served.
