Since 2014, VisFactory Co., Ltd. has been operating private vacation rental properties in Shimane Prefecture. This space, once used to welcome distinguished guests, still features elegant details such as coffered ceilings and handcrafted railings, preserving the dignified character of its former life as a ryotei. 【Furnishings Curated by Matsue Craft Shop “objects”】【※表記そのまま】 The interior furnishings are curated by “objects,” a craft shop based in Matsue. Ceramics and handcrafted works by Shimane-based artists, including Kenji Funaki and Katsuhisa Ishitobi, are thoughtfully placed throughout the house, adding depth and character to the space. 【Staying in the Heart of Matsue, Rich in Local Atmosphere】 Kunoya is located in Higashihonmachi, Matsue’s central district, where a variety of unique local restaurants line the streets, offering plenty of options for dining. Matsue Castle and Lake Shinji are also within walking distance, making this an ideal base for sightseeing while enjoying the atmosphere of the city.
