From JR Matsumoto Station: Take the train bound for Shinshimashima Station (30-minutes) and then take the bus bound for Kamikochi (60-minutes)
From Takayama Bus Terminal: Take the bus bound for Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal (50 minutes), and then take the bus bound for Kamikochi (30 minutes).
Please note private vehicles are prohibited from entering the Kamikochi area. Guests driving their own cars are required to park their vehicles at Sawando Parking Lot or Akandana Parking Lot and take the bus from there.
Please note that the gate at the entrance of the Kamikochi area closes at 19:00 daily. The area cannot be accessed after that time.
