Featuring natural hot-spring baths and fresh Japanese meals, Kashoutei Hanaya Ryokan offers spacious rooms overlooking the Oyunuma River. Relaxing massages and exciting horse-riding activities are on offer. Guests can choose a classically furnished Western room or a Japanese room with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon beds. Each room includes a satellite TV, an air humidifier/purifier and a private toilet. Bathing facilities are shared. Located in Hokkaido’s famous Noboribetsu hot springs area, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Noboribetsu Onsen Bus Terminal. The ropeway (cable car) to Noboribetsu Bear Park is a 10-minute walk away, and Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura historical theme park is a 10-minute drive. The 24-hour reception provides luggage storage services, and free parking is offered.

Pure sulfar hot spring which is very small size of spa, but you can enjoy almost during your staying at our ryokan. Guarantee to enjoy our Japanese style garden with a drink for freee. Kaiseki style in room dinner is also very unique and valuable point. Reservation in advance must be essential so please feel free to ask us further. Free shuttle bus service from or to JR Noboribetsu station or Noboribetsu onsen bus terminal is limited of seats we have. So please

Neighborhood info

About 12 minutes by car, bus and taxi from JR Noboribetsu station. It takes about 5 minutes by car from Noboribetsu higashi I.C. It is about 7 minutes on foot from Noboribetsu Onsen Bus Terminal. The nearest bus stop is "JCHO Noboribetsu Hospital, Kashoutei Hanaya". You can arrive from the nearest bus stop in about 2 minutes on foot. Hotel's car is available to give you a ride to main street (Gokuraku -dori) upon your request. In addition, a free shuttle bus of Noboribetsu bear park in the hot spring town will come to pick you up to the hotel. If the weather is nice, you can take a ropeway where you can see the view of Noboribetsu and enjoy a bear pasture. We also sell admission discount tickets at hotel reception. Jigokudani in the hot spring town is about 1 km (about 15 minutes on foot) from the hotel. Others, "Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura (Edo Wonderland)" is located about 5 minutes by bus or car, "Noboribetsu Marine Park" is located in 10 minutes place.

Guests staying in the Twin Room will have dinner served at the property restaurant. Dinner will be served in the guest room for guests staying in other rooms.

Please note that exterior wall maintenance will be carried out from August 2026 to December 2026, from 08:00 to 18:00. Guests may experience some noise and paint odour during the maintenance.
