Our house is a 160 year old renovated farmhouse. We have just completed a full revonation to the original structure, adding wonderful new features such as a pellet stove and underfloor heating in all rooms. The most special feature of the downstairs floor is a hori-kotatsu (sunken table) where your feet can relax on natural earth and detox from electrical devices by "earthing" yourself. Come and try it out.
We love cooking, cycling, BBQing, hiking and kayakking. All the things that you can do during your stay. Two cats live with us in the house - hope you enjoy hanging out with them. Outside in the garden, we have goats and chickens and plentiful vegatable beds.
We live in a very quiet place with no neighbours. The loudest noises are from birds, frogs and monkeys rustlng the bamboo trees. Around us are rice and vegetable fields and the ancient Mori Hachimangu shrine. We grow our own organic rice and eggs, so please enjoy those!
