Our ryokan is nestled in a 1,000-year-old shopping arcade—still bustling with traditional craft shops, boutiques, cafés, and restaurants. Unlike heavily gentrified tourist spots, this neighborhood retains its authentic, lived-in charm, offering a rare perspective into everyday Japanese life. Right next door, our sister restaurant Kakeru serves Japanese-style tapas. Expect delicious, reasonably priced dishes, drinks, and lively conversation with locals. Open until midnight—much later than most Nara establishments—it's the perfect way to end your day.
