Welcome to our convenient family apartment. We have done a total renovation of the whole building, creating a modern, yet authentically Japanese space for you and your group. The living space has 12 tatami mats, which can sleep up to 5 guests comfortably. The kitchen and bathroom space are separated from the sleeping area and have been fitted with raw pinewood floors. The toilet is separate from the shower and has a brand new Washlet attached. Welcom to Kyoto and our guest house! Comprehensive information will be provided prior to check-in dates by email and SMS (in English / Japanese) . Please get in touch by SMS before you come. For any questions or problems that you may have during the stay, we will be on-hand as much as possible during reasonable hours. Michiko will be available nearby to provide any extra towels / toiletries. The International Red Cross hospital is 700m and has English-speaking doctors. We will help you out as best we can.Please note that due to the convenient location, we are positioned near to a main road. Please understand that there is some traffic noise in the area. At night, closing the main wooden door, windows and curtains cuts a lot of the noise out. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Higashikujo is a diverse community of Japanese, Korean and Chinese residents, along with many short term and longer visitors who enjoy the proximity to Kyoto Station. Nearby there are two Lawson stores, laundromat and Kyoto's famous Kamo river. Within walking distance are Tofukuji temple and the red gates of Fushimi Inari shrine.
