La Passione is owned by Ben and Nagi. The B&B is run with a really super team: Elly & Kunki. Ben and Nagi stayed at La Passione when they had the wedding photo shoot and have been regular customers before purchasing it. Ben is a Karate practitioner and comes often to Okinawa with Nagi. Their favorite spot is Tokashiki island with its beautiful range of blue and green. We believe that a prosperous business is one that enriches the community it is in. As such we focus on respecting local customs and work with local people and initiatives.

Welcome to La Passione a family house recently refurbished and converted into a boutique B&B. Inspired by the great British tradition of private accommodation, the B&B is a comfortable and stylish home for guests to enjoy and relax while visiting Naha. The building has three levels. On the ground floor there is a secluded lounge and a café area with a distinctive Italian and Japanese feel. As you go upwards, the décor increasingly reflects Asian, Japanese and Okinawan cultures through the use of natural materials, as parquet flooring, wood and bamboo, and the colourful local fabrics. There is also a roof terrace from which the neighbourhood rooftops can be seen. In the Japanese fashion we kindly ask guests to remove their shoes: we do provide room slippers. High speed free WIFI is available across the building.

Neighborhood info

La Passione is in a residential street off one of the old and popular quarters of the town. It is a short walk to the Cathedral, the public market and to the heart of city Kokusaidori. Nearby an interesting array of shops selling artisan goods, from clothes to home baked cookies, can be found as well as local restaurants and eating places. If you enjoy walking, you can explore the narrow lanes nearby which are only for pedestrians or take a wander into one of the two local parks.
