Rinn Manju-ji is located in the place named in the city planning project conducted by Hideyoshi Toyotomi during the Azuchi-Momoyama period, near Gojoten Shrine, which has been popular since ancient times. Rinn Manju-ji is where you can learn the culture symbolizing the Azuchi–Momoyama period. In the entrance hall with a wooden floor, a deep-seated sofa welcomes travel-worn guests while a kimono sash and willow arranged in a flower vase represent the ornate culture that flourished in the Azuchi–Momoyama period. Simple and refined black furniture is arranged in the living room and bedroom to create a relaxing space. Colorful woodblock prints in the room attract guests' attention. These are faithful reprints of historical wood prints that were actually used in Kyoto, showing the patterns of the costumes used in Noh plays, which were popular during the Azuchi–Momoyama period. Yellow used as an accent color in the bedroom to represent familiarity is said to have been used by Hideyoshi Toyotomi for banners.
