A historic townhouse that has existed in the ancient capital of Nara for more than 100 years. The machiya was reborn as THE KAKU on November 1, 2024. The KAKU is a modern interpretation of the ancient beauty of Japan, with a tea ceremony room and an open-air bath created using Japanese techniques. THE KAKU, which includes KAKU Kin with an open-air bath and a separate Gin, is one of the most spacious suites in Nara with over 200 square meters overlooking the Kofukuji Temple in Nara Park. The suite consists of separate living room and two bedrooms, a dining room with a full kitchen, a tea ceremony room, and a natural wood dining table. A separate fitness room and a room that can accommodate your dog or cat are also available for your enjoyment.
