Boasting a view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Maruei feature warmly decorated Japanese-style rooms and is located a 15-minute bus ride from Kawaguchiko Train Station. The ryokan offers a traditional Japanese kaiseki meal for dinner. Free WiFi and free shuttle service from the nearby train station is available. Every room at this ryokan is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Some units feature a seating area where you can relax. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom fitted with a bath. Extras include slippers, free toiletries and a hair dryer. Maruei offers luggage storage space and gift shop at the property. Mount Fuji can be seen from the observatory, public open-air bath Fuji-no-yu and private bath Fuyo-no-yu. Free parking is also available. Japanese-style meals are served for breakfast and dinner. Dinner is served in the guest room or a private dining room (*Note: dinner place cannot be selected). Breakfast is served in a hall where other guest will dine as well. The Kawaguchiko Muse Museum and Itchiku Kubota Art Museum are both a 5-minute walk away. Shimobe Hot Spring is 26 km from Maruei, while Fujiomuro Sengen Shrine is 400 metres away.

Wakakusa no Yado Maruei is unable to provide meals that cater to allergies, religious or cultural restrictions or foodstuffs that you do not like. Please understand this in advance. Check-in at Wakakusa no Yado Maruei is from 15:00 to 17:00. Please make sure to arrive by 17:00. Dinner times will be advised at check-in. The last dinner starts at 19:00. At Wakakusa no Yado Maruei, if dinner has not started by 19:00, all crockery will be disposed of. Wakakusa no Yado Maruei will not offer a discount on the room rate or refund the price of the dishes if dinner does not start by 7:00 pm, regardless of the reason. A free shuttle bus runs between Kawaguchiko Station and Wakakusa no Yado Maruei from 3pm until the last bus at 5pm. Please call Wakakusa no Yado Maruei after arriving at Kawaguchiko Station. If you do not have a mobile phone, please tell the Kawaguchiko Station Information Centre (closes at 17:00) that you are a guest of Wakakusa no Yado Maruei. Usually it takes about 10 minutes to pick you up. Outside free shuttle bus service hours, please take a taxi.
