My husband and I lived in a foreign country for several years. He is still working for an international organization and visiting Europe several times a year. Therefore, we know how difficult it is to live in the foreign country, but we also know how it is wonderful to be a friend with those people who did not know before. This is a major reason why we thought to convert my parents house to a petite hotel. My hobby is to play Paraguayan Harp. When I am in a happy feeling I can enjoy playing music with you. My husband is a great lover of wine. He may join us with his wine bottle when he is also happy.

Mokkoan is a traditional Japanese house made from very precious wood such as zelkova and Japanese cypress. When I was a child a family of horned owl was living in a tree near the gate. The visitors to this house in the ancient time used to tie their horses to this gate. Mokkoan tries to maintain the same atmosphere as much as possible. Relaxing in a room, tasting a cup of coffee at the window side and overlooking the beautiful garden, you can imagine that you are in a Samurai house. Our most important thought is to be a bridge between people of the world. We truly hope you to find a calm life in the bustle of the Metropolitan Tokyo area.

The evaluation of the town of Akabane is rising these days. The surrounding area of Akabane station is famous for the casual environment and friendly shops. On the other hand the residential area on the hill is very quiet and cozy area where Mokkoan is locating. There are several temples and shrines in the walking distance and the National Training Center for the Olympic Athletes is also near. The area is comfortable for take a walk in the morning. If you take JR train it is very convenient to visit UENO, ASAKUSA, GINZA and other known sightseeing areas. Those are all in within 30 minutes distance from near by stations, Akabane and other Metro stations.
