A 5-minute walk from Tenmonkandori Tram Station, Nakahara Bessou offers Japanese-style and Western accommodations with a flat-screen TV and refreshing public hot-spring baths. JR Kagoshima Train Station is a 5-minute drive away. The building has been renovated with earthquake-proof construction and reopened in August, 2014. Japanese-style rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. All rooms include air conditioning, a safety deposit box and a fridge. The private bathroom comes with a bathtub and toilet. Nakahara Bessou Hotel is a 5-minute walk from Terukuni Shrine and a 5-minute drive from Shiroyama Park. Kagoshima Airport is a 50-minute drive away. Local souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop and guests can relax with views of the traditional garden. Luggage storage and photocopying services are available at the front desk. Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a Japanese set-menu for breakfast. All meals are offered at the dining room or the banquet room.

The public hot-spring bath is available between 17:00 and 22:30 and between 06:00 and 09:00.

Breakfast: 07:00-09:00 (last order is at 08:30)

Dinner: 18:00-21:30 (last order is at 20:00)

Designated smoking area is located on the ground floor and all other areas of the property is nonsmoking.
