Set in the woods by Mount Kuruhi, Hotel Shogetsutei is 5 minutes from Kinosaki-Onsen Train Station on the free shuttle. It features beautiful outdoor hot-spring baths and a spa. Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei is the largest ryokan in Kinosaki Onsen and the sister ryokan of Nishimuraya Honkan. It has 98 guest rooms and a variety of facilities including private onsen spa & aroma treatment massage facility. Shogetsutei is nestled next to a quiet mountain forest.
In addition to creating luxurious Japanese kaiseki cuisine, Nishimuraya's head chef Etsunobu Takahashi enjoys gardening, bonsai, fishing, and creating Japanese-style dishes using a variety of materials.
Kinosaki Onsen is a quaint, traditional town with a river running through the middle, old-style Japanese ryokan, 7 public hot springs baths, and many quaint restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. Guests staying in Kinosaki Onsen enjoy strolling the town and visiting the baths while wearing traditional yukata (cotton kimono) and wearing geta (wooden) sandals.

Seasonal Kaiseki (Japanese multi-course meal) is served from 1 April to 6 November. Crab is served from 7 November to 31 March.
