Hi my name is Rosie and I have been providing accommodation and tour assistance in Kochi for 3 years now. My husband and I are organic rice farmers in the making but my true passion is making this beautiful location accessible to people from all over the world. I have two accommodation houses. This house is on the southern tip of Shikoku making it a more remote and still traditional destination. Many activities on foot and on the land and ocean can be enjoyed. A CAR IS ESSENTIAL. The house that I have prepared is self contained and is a mix of traditional living and modern amenities. Its actually a very typical farmers home so it’s not lush and gorgeous but it has lots of character and charm.It’s ideal for families or groups of friends. Traditional living means strictly no shoes or dirty feet inside. I’m very strict on this. My husband and I live close by and we can be of as much assistance as you want. My wifi has arrived and it’s wonderful. Please come and enjoy Japanese countryside hospitality and take advantage of the many unique experiences at your fingertips.

Mihara and the Shimanto/Tosashimizu area is full of friendly people, great food and unique experiences. Snorkel in 1m water and see lots of fish, make your own kitchen knife, explore the world of calligraphy stones, do an indigo dyeing workshop, help me harvest rice, do an onigiri cooking class, take surf lessons. There are many activities that you can engage in. On the other hand, the house and the nearby river are beautiful places to relax in and enjoy as you unplug from the hustle and bustle of city life . A circuit of the Shimanto River is an easy one day road trip and there are many surf beaches close by. A spent diving can also be experienced easily. Theres lots to do and eat and often local festivals that you can attend.
