Construite sur le modèle des maisons traditionnelles en tuiles rouges d'Okinawa, la villa est séparée en une grande grande pièce, une chambre Tatami traditionnelle avec des lits de style occidental, une cuisine ouverte avec un comptoir massif, une petite salle de bain et des toilettes séparées. Vous profiterez également de la grande terrasse couverte, d'un jardin verdoyant de 150m² avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan, et de l'accès à notre plage semi-privée (uniquement accessible depuis le jardin à marée haute).
When the French culture meets the Japanese culture, the result can be fairly explosive. After nearly 20 years in Tokyo selling handmade in Japan items to the world, we have decide to take a big step back from the crazy big city and moved to Ishigaki with our 3 kids. We love food, we love nature, we love adventure. Licenced lifeguards, we're boat captains sailing on a 420 catamaran around the Island, snorkeling and diving, but we also love having feet on the ground and trekking jungles, rivers and mountains. And above all, we like to share. Over time, we realized that showing the wonders of nature in a setting that respects it might be the best way to inspire more people to respect and protect it.
With half a dozen kids in the neighorhood for a couple dozen residents, our little village is a little paradise. Nearby, two small hotels offer excellent restaurants for lunch and diner (depending on season). From beaches to coves, about fifty meters separate the main road from the coast. 3 minutes by car, the protected natural park of Ishigaki-Iriomote offers a magnificent entrance to the tropical jungle with its many endemic creatures, its rivers and countless waterfalls. Day 1: enjoy the private beach in front of the house and have an early BBQ so you can enjoy excellent food and the most stunning sunset simultaneously. Day 2: sea & mangrove kayaking in the morning starting from the beach. Then Trekking Mt Mape or Jungle/Waterfall just a few minutes from the Villa. Day 3: Take our "Mini Catamaran" Tour, then head up north where you will be able to visit a stalactite cave and the Hirakubo light house. Or just rest in the Hammoc with a book on local culture!
