We offer a room in an early residential house (1984) designed by Tadao Ando, one of Japan's most renowned architects. This building is located in Nara Prefecture and was constructed in 1984. It was designed as a residence for three households: the commissioning couple and their families. It is a luxurious shared residence for one family, where each of the three floors has independent residential functions while sharing part of the external space. Each floor—basement, second, and third—features distinct terraces. Combined with the interplay with the central courtyard, this creates diverse expressions on each level. Stay in one room of Tadao Ando's early residential work and enjoy a special experience unavailable through mere observation. We can also provide information on membership registration and other operational services. Accommodation This service provides exclusive use of one room on the middle floor of the three-story structure. Guest Access Guests may access only the middle room on the three-story structure and the terrace accessible via the door near the dining space. Please refrain from entering the courtyard on the basement level. Additionally, please refrain from accessing the top floor. Other Special Notes The nameplate reads “M House.” Please enter the property through the small gate and ascend the stairs. The translucent glass door on the middle level is the entrance to the accommodation space.
