Our guest house theme is centered around the Puffin bird. When ever we get the chance we will be adding Puffin related objects for you to find, kind of like a treasure hunt. Our house consists of a kithchen, dinning room and 3 bed rooms on the main floor. One bathroom, shower room and laundry room is also located on the main floor. Upstairs is the movie room along with an additional sleeping area. I hope you enjoy your stay at our clean and quite house.
I am Canadian and my wife is Japanese. We both speak English and she is fluent in Japanese while I still have a lot to learn. We are very friendly people and want to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Thank you
Our Puffin House is nestled in the middle of a small country town called Shirataki which means White Waterfall. We have beautiful lush green summers and beautiful white snow winters. In town we have the famous Obsidian archaeological museum all year round. In the summers we have horse back riding all year long near by, as well as dog sledding and skiing cat-tours in the winter. There are also several Onsens to choose from in nearby towns that also have interesting attractions.
