Since 2014, VisFactory Co., Ltd. has been operating private vacation rental properties in Shimane Prefecture. We currently manage six entire-home accommodations, and also run cruise services as well as marine activity programs such as SUP and surfing. By discovering and making use of Shimane’s natural landscapes and local cultural resources, we create stays and experiences that allow guests to fully enjoy the unique character of the region.

A private whole-house accommodation nestled in the historic temple district of central Matsue, just a short walk from the city’s vibrant downtown area. Located in Teramachi, this house was carefully renovated from a traditional machiya townhouse, preserving its calm and understated character while providing a comfortable and modern stay. The property can accommodate up to four guests. Although it faces a quiet street, the house is conveniently close to Matsue Station and the lively entertainment districts of Isemiyacho and Higashihonmachi, making it ideal for sightseeing, business trips, and longer stays. Guests can relax and enjoy a peaceful moment while looking out over the small tsuboniwa courtyard garden, offering a gentle connection to nature in the heart of the city. The interior furnishings are curated by Matsue-based craft shop objects. Handcrafted works by renowned artisans such as Kenji Funaki, Shodo Iwagaki, and Nishimochida Kiln add warmth and character to the space, making the stay itself a cultural experience.
