Nice to meet you! We're a married couple who loves Hakodate, and want to give the best service to guests travelling to Hakodate. Our only regret is that we do not get to directly meet with guests much, because we both have day jobs. I hope that if we have the chance, we will get to meet you. A host support company called Unito will be taking care of my guests and home. I encourage that you contact them during your stay!

A cottage-like rustic house in Hakodate, one of Hokkaido’s biggest cities! The exposed wood pattern walls and warm lighting provide a relaxing atmosphere. Famous nearby locations: Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, Yawatasaka, Hakodate morning market, and old Russian Consulate. If you would like to enjoy both history and nature in Hokkaido, this house is for you. Parking info: There is a parking spot a 2 min walk from the house that you can use. This city has various things to do, for instance, seeing the night view from Hakodate mountain, buying souvenirs in Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses, and eating fresh fish in Hakodate morning market. As for historical aspects, since Hakodate port was one of the first ports of trade in Japan, you can see many influences of Western culture. There are many old-style buildings in this city, and some of them were innovated to be retro and nostalgic cafes. Many visitors enjoy such cafes. While you are walking in Hakodate, you will see half-Japanese and half-Western style houses, such as homes with the ground floor built in a Japanese style and the 2nd floor built in a western style. This eclectic city will definitely make your stay in Japan unforgettable.
