A hot spring in our Rhyokan is 100% direct-flow spring water. It is said that if you use this hot spring for three days, you won’t catch a cold for three years. And also, this hot spring water is safe to drink and is said to be good for the stomach and intestines. While it’s by no means a new inn, we hire a professional cleaning service to clean it every day to keep it clean. There’s nothing here but nature and the time that flows slowly, so please enjoy this time of “doing nothing.”
Thank you for looking our page of Ryokan. The view changes dramatically as you drive toward this place; it’s a secluded hot spring resort that you can reach in just one hour from downtown Matsumoto. We are a traditional Japanese ryokan that offers Japanese traditions, culture, and hospitality. We preserve Japanese culture, which values people and things and places great importance on harmony. Please come and experience a quiet, sophisticated hot spring stay. Thank you.
The location is very close to Kamikochi, making it a convenient place to stay after enjoying a stroll through Kamikochi. And also, you can enjoy activities in the Norikura Highlands, or visit Matsumoto Castle—a National Treasure—and the castle town; this is a highly recommended sightseeing route.
