It is close to tourist attractions such as Matsumoto Castle, Matsumoto Museum of Art, and Matsumoto Art Museum, and is within walking distance of the city's restaurants. The entrance to the inn is an auto-lock type, and the PIN code required for entry will be transmitted to you at check-in. This means that once you check in, you will be able to come and go as you please, without time constraints, and you can spend your time at your own pace, as well as having no problems leaving early in the morning for mountain climbing, etc. For guests who are forced to arrive after the policy check-in time, or who request it, we will send you self-check-in instructions, provided you contact us in advance, so you can check in yourself.

"Guesthouse Matsumoto Hanare" is located in the Ezashicho area, a town of history and spring water. This area is the eastern entrance of the Jyuodo Hall, which was built at the entrance to the main roads running east-west and north-south to protect the castle town when Matsumoto Castle was built. The statue of King Enma is still enshrined in the Jyuodo Hall, and the statues of the Ten Kings, who are said to rule the underworld after death, are still enshrined around it. This area is where the famous spring waters of Matsumoto Castle Town gush out from all over, and behind "Guesthouse Matsumoto Hanare" flows the clear stream "Metoba River", which is filled with abundant spring water, and on the opposite bank of the river you can see the bell tower of the Prefectural Honenraiji Temple, which was built in the Edo period, through the garden.
