“ホスピタリティに溢れたオーナーさんが出迎えてくれます。外観は伝統的な日本家屋の形ですが、内装・設備はリフォームされていて、そこらへんのホテルに負けず劣らずの快適さでした。また、和食中心の朝ごはんがとても美味しく、特に土鍋で炊いた白ご飯はついついおかわりしてしまうほどでした。 丹波篠山というロケーションも素晴らしく、今回お盆の来訪でも涼しく過ごしやすい印象でした。丹波篠山には魅力的な時期がもっとたくさんあると思うので、夏以外も楽しめるはずです。”

Located in the historic Fujisaka in the mountains on the border with Kyoto Prefecture. This inn is a renovated old thatched-roof house. We only accommodate one group per day, and will provide you with hospitality just for you. For dinner, we will serve approximately 10 seasonal dishes from Tamba, cooked over an open hearth. You can stay for up to 24 hours, so please take your time and enjoy your wonderful stay in Fujisaka.
We opened in September 2025. We will do our utmost to ensure your satisfaction during your stay. If you have any requests, please feel free to send us a message in advance. We are run by a married couple. We traveled from Hokkaido to Okinawa in our camper van for about two years, searching for our final home, and finally arrived here in Fujisaka. Please feel free to let us know if you have any requests about the wonderful things about Fujisaka or how to enjoy it.
Fujisaka is a historic rural area that dates back to the Heian period manor of Fujisaka-sho. Guests can enjoy a variety of agricultural experiences, including harvesting black edamame, a specialty of Tanba Sasayama. A wide variety of creatures live in the satoyama and streams. Guests can enjoy a variety of satoyama experiences throughout the seasons, such as collecting stag beetles and other beetles accompanied by expert commentary, or observing Genji fireflies and Hime fireflies. This lodging is recommended for those who wish to relax in the countryside and experience the good old days of Japan.
