Located within Nara Park, The Deer Park Inn offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property and a chance to feed the many deer roaming around the park. Kintesunara Train Station is an 8-minute taxi ride away. Rooms feature air conditioning/heating and free toiletries. Bathrooms and toilets are shared with other guests. The Deer Park Inn is the only budget guesthouse style accommodation in the Nara World Heritage area. Enjoy a short walk to Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Grand Shrine or simply relax in the beautiful, lush surroundings of Mount Wakakusa, all right on our doorstep. A unique chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and take time to spend a few days surrounded by nature and history. With over a thousand wild deer roaming through the park you will always find company whatever you decide to do! Situated at the foot of Mount Wakakusa in a newly renovated Japanese house with brand new shared shower rooms. Many of our private rooms have views over the park and the primeval forest with the wooden furnishings giving the guesthouse a relaxed, mountain lodge feel. Facilities include free WiFi, Internet Space, shared lounge and kitchen with microwave and cooker. We are waiting to welcome you to join us and enjoy the relaxing settings of Deer Park Inn, surrounded by nature, steeped in history.
