We are a traditional Japanese-style ryokan in Kinosaki Onsen, located in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. We have been in business for over 100 years, since the Meiji Era. We have been loved by painters and writers, and we display their works in our inn so that our guests can enjoy their works. We hope to provide enjoyment and comfort to our guests when they travel to Kinosaki Onsen.

Property info

Our ryokan is a Japanese-style inn located in Kinosaki Onsen. Originally built over 100 years ago as a three-story wooden structure, the guest rooms were constructed using traditional Japanese construction methods, allowing guests to experience a Japanese living space. Many works by writers and artists associated with the inn are on display in the building for your visual enjoyment. For meals, we offer a uniquely Japanese menu, using mainly seafood ingredients.

Kinosaki Onsen is a hot spring resort located in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture. Several hot spring facilities are located within walking distance of each other, and visitors are encouraged to tour the facilities in yukata, the traditional Japanese garb (available for free rental). Nearby is the Sea of Japan, where fish from the sea and Tajima beef (Japanese beef), a local specialty, are used in the cuisine. There is an aquarium about 10 minutes away by car and a traditional castle town about 40 minutes away.
