Uruma Dome is Okinawa’s first dome-style accommodation. Located in Uruma City in central Okinawa, it is about a one-hour drive from Naha Airport and within easy reach of most major sightseeing spots on the island, making it a convenient base for exploring Okinawa. Right in front of the property, you’ll find the beautiful “Uruma Blue” ocean. Surrounded by nature, you can relax and enjoy peaceful moments with stunning sunrises, starry night skies, birdsong in the morning, and the gentle sounds of insects at night. The beach is just a 5-second walk away. Enjoy watching the sunrise, taking a leisurely walk, or going for a jog while experiencing the calm and natural atmosphere that Okinawa is known for.

About the Surrounding Area Our property is located in the eastern coastal area of Uruma City, in central Okinawa. This peaceful seaside neighborhood is surrounded by nature and offers a more relaxed atmosphere compared to busy tourist areas such as Naha or Onna Village. It is an ideal location for guests who would like to experience the local side of Okinawa while enjoying a calm and comfortable stay. There are many beautiful beaches nearby, most of which can be reached within a short drive. Several of these beaches are relatively quiet and less crowded, making them perfect for a morning walk, watching the sunset, or simply relaxing by the sea. The nearby Kaichu Road is especially popular, offering a scenic drive over the ocean that connects several small islands and is considered a sightseeing experience in itself. The area is also very convenient for daily needs. Convenience stores and supermarkets, including a 24-hour supermarket, are located within about 5 minutes by car. You can easily purchase groceries, snacks, drinks, and local Okinawan products, which is especially helpful for families and guests staying longer. There are many dining options nearby as well. From cafés and casual eateries within walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants within a 10–15 minute drive, you’ll find Okinawan cuisine, BBQ restaurants, curry shops, local diners, gelato shops, and traditional izakayas. Many of these places are popular with locals and offer a chance to enjoy Okinawa’s food culture in a relaxed, authentic setting. This area offers a great balance of nature, food, and convenience, and is especially recommended for guests who want to enjoy Okinawa at a slower pace and experience everyday local life alongside sightseeing.
