[Local Attraction] - Fushimi Inari Shrine (10 mins) - Tofuku-ji (15 mins) - Gion (20 mins) - Fushimi Sake District / Village (20 mins) - Kiyomizu-dera (23 mins) - Fujinomori Shrine (9 min walk) [Location] Our accommodation is just 10 minutes from Fushimi Inari and conveniently located along the Keihan line, providing easy access to Demachiyanagi, Gion-Shijo, Kiyomizu-Gojo, Fushimi Inari, Uji, and Yodoyabashi (Osaka). While close to major sightseeing spots, the area is safe, peaceful, and part of a quiet residential neighborhood where locals live. Within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find supermarkets, pharmacies, convenience stores, and many restaurants, making your stay comfortable and convenient. Nearby is the Biwako Canal, which brings water from Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture. In spring, the canal is lined with cherry blossoms, perfect for a relaxing walk. The famous Fujinomori Shrine is also close by which is known as the god of success and horses, and also famous for its approximately 3,500 hydrangea plants. The Science Center is nearby, making it great for families with children. There are also plenty of trails to explore, including Inari Mountain at Fushimi Inari Taisha.
