Hello! I'm Miho Suzuki, the owner. Our guesthouse is a lively and warm place surrounded by many animals. At home, we have two sheep, Mochio and Nuts, as well as chickens, dogs, and cats, all treated like family, and we warmly welcome our guests. Furthermore, wild deer, squirrels, foxes, and raccoons often come to play in the rich natural surroundings of our guesthouse. Through my hobby of nature observation, I enjoy being able to introduce you to the wildlife of Hokkaido. Welcome to our handcrafted log cabin nestled in a vast farm in Yubari, Hokkaido. Our special recommendation is the Western-style room with a skylight, where you can gaze at the starry sky while lying in bed. We also have one Japanese-style room with tatami mats, allowing you to experience Japanese culture. ■ A Lively Family (Animals) and Wild Visitors Our guesthouse is home to pet sheep, dogs, cats, five roosters, and two hens, all considered part of our family. Enjoy the mornings as the roosters' cheerful crowing heralds the dawn in the forest. Wild deer, squirrels, foxes, and raccoons sometimes visit outside your window. Through nature observation, a hobby of ours, you can experience Hokkaido's rich ecosystem up close. ■ From Farm to Table: Seasonal Flavors Our proud meals generously use fresh vegetables grown on our farm. In spring, we serve sweet asparagus, and in summer, melt-in-your-mouth Yubari melons, carefully selecting the best seasonal produce. ■ Private Bookings for Groups Welcome For groups of 10 or more, it is possible to rent out the entire log house. Explore history and culture: The "Coal Museum," where you can learn about Yubari's industrial history, and the historic brick warehouses of "Kobayashi Sake Brewery" in the neighboring town of Kuriyama are well worth seeing. Spectacular natural scenery: At "Takinoue Park," you can enjoy the dynamic beauty of the gorge. It is breathtakingly beautiful during the cherry blossom season in spring and the autumn foliage season.
