Voketto is a Local Stay located in Kawanehon-town, Shizuoka, a region rich in natural beauty. The owner personally renovated this 140-year-old traditional Japanese house, breathing new life into it to create a space with a nostalgic atmosphere. It has become a warm and welcoming place that guests often describe as their “second home.” During the day, you can enjoy BBQs and playing in the river, and at night, you can marvel at the breathtaking starry sky. With Okuoi Kojo Station and the Dream Suspension Bridge(Yume no Tsuribashi) nearby, there are plenty of sightseeing opportunities to enjoy. We also offer a variety of rooms suitable for families, couples, and groups of friends of all ages. Born in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture During university, I took a one-year leave of absence to travel around the world with a guitar. I visited approximately 25 countries. In 2017, I moved to Kawanehon-town where I run "Voketto". Alongside I work as a flamenco guitarist, I shares the appeal of various stringed instruments, including classical guitar, sanshin, and erhu. I work as a craftsman, creating everything from small items to large-scale pieces, including river tables, handmade woodwork, and carpentry. My favorite time is chatting with guests.
