It combines "EM," my mother's initials, and "Jay," my own name. This name reflects the close relationship I share with my mother and the values she instilled in me from a young age: hard work, perseverance, and never giving up. These values continue to guide me every day in serving our guests. The building that now houses EMJAYS Guest House has a unique history. It was originally our church building, a place where people gathered, found comfort, and built community. When the church moved to a new location, I saw an opportunity to give the building a new purpose. Rather than letting it sit unused, I transformed it into a guest house dedicated to hospitality and service. My inspiration for creating EMJAYS Guest House comes from a passion for hospitality. I believe that travelers deserve more than just a room—they deserve a warm welcome, a comfortable environment, and a place where they can relax and feel at home.
