Hornbill Cottage is located in Muthaiga, one of Nairobi’s most peaceful and green neighborhoods — close to both the city and nature. Within 15–20 minutes you can visit the Giraffe Centre, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (Elephant Orphanage), Nairobi National Museum, or go on a game drive in Nairobi National Park. Closer to home, Karura Forest is perfect for walks or bike rides, and there are several excellent cafes and restaurants nearby.
