A charming old colonial home at a beautiful location. Two stand alone units in very spacious leafy grounds. A green OASIS in the middle of Nairobi. The home, about 100 years old is winner of TripAdvisor “Top Vacational Rental” - RATED EXCELLENT, We offer: A quiet, relaxed, comfortable stay in a SECURE homely environment. Continental breakfast with fruit and cereals. DISCOUNTED stay rates. Free WIFI Stable WATER supply. A launch point to see one of 7 WONDERS OF WORLD – wild game migration. ACCOMMODATION: The 2 units have 3 bedrooms each : double, twin and single with a total capacity of 12 persons. The spacious APARTMENT prime with king bed & overhead shower shares with twin and single, kitchen, a fabulous living room and terrace with stunning view of garden . The COTTAGE master bedroom with queen bed and jaccuzzi, loft with own toilet and twin, share a PRIVATE garden, living room with sofa bed, and kitchen next to antique bath tub. SECURITY: The home is in a World Bank approved secure area. With 24 hour guard & alarm service, nearby police station and 7 embassies around us, police security is assured. It is safe to walk but at night take taxi.
I am a retired human & animal health consultant. Over the years I have travelled widely and I have visited each and every continent. I have stayed in accommodations ranging from sleeping on a bunker in a ship at sea and on a hard bench in a railway station waiting room, to sharing a double decker bed in a youth hostel and staying in a 5 star hotel suite. I have enjoyed the thrills and endured the frustrations of travelling. I therefore do empathize with my fellow travellers’ experiences.
