Our home is located just 1km from the city centre. My parents live there, however 2 rooms are often empty and they would like to host tourists there. Thereby they can meet new people and spend time with a small profit ;) The house is 12km from ancient Burana tower. 11 km to Hawaii. 42 km to Kegeti waterfall. 60km to Issyk Ata hot springs.
My parents are the hosts, they don't speak English, however with a smartphone app they can speak almost any language.
There are small shops nearby, also a bar, drugstore, carwash, car service point, sauna. 1km away is the city central park where you can hang out. Shopping centre, supermarket and small fast food cabins are to be found there.
