A Stay in the Heart of Nature. Important Information About Entering the Eco-Park Our property is located in a beautiful protected green park, surrounded by mountains, trees, fresh mountain air and untouched nature. Here you will not find the noise, traffic and crowds of the city. Instead, you can enjoy peaceful surroundings, fresh air, a mountain river and spectacular views. We are located in the Karakol Gorge, an area where nature has been preserved in its natural state. During the summer, the forest provides shade and cool mountain air, while the sound of the river and surrounding mountains creates a truly peaceful atmosphere. In winter, the area becomes a beautiful snowy mountain landscape with crisp air and breathtaking views. Why is there an environmental entrance fee? Because the territory is a protected natural area, access to the park is controlled by a government environmental checkpoint. This checkpoint does not belong to our property and is not operated by us. It is a government facility, so unfortunately we cannot remove the checkpoint, change its official tariffs or exempt our guests from the entrance fee. The environmental fee is a payment for entering the protected natural park itself. It is not an additional accommodation fee charged by our property. We understand that an entrance fee may come as a surprise to some guests, which is why we would like to explain the system clearly in advance. Our goal is to make sure you know exactly what to expect before arriving.

Environmental entrance fees Foreign visitors, including guests from CIS countries — 300 KGS per person. Vehicle entrance fee — 200 KGS per vehicle. The fee is therefore calculated separately for the people entering the park and for the vehicle. For guests who are residents of the Kyrgyz Republic, different local rates may apply according to the government regulations. Important information about the validity of the payment The entrance receipt is valid until midnight (00:00) on the day of payment. For example, if you pay the entrance fee at 11:50 PM, the receipt will remain valid only until midnight, meaning it will technically be valid for just 10 minutes. After midnight, a new day begins and a new entrance fee may be required for another entry. We recommend keeping this in mind when planning trips to Karakol and back, especially if you expect to return late in the evening. An easier and potentially cheaper option for our guests Since the environmental checkpoint is operated by the government and the entrance fee is mandatory, we cannot remove or waive the charge. However, we can offer our guests a convenient alternative, especially for families and larger groups travelling together. If you prefer not to drive directly to the environmental checkpoint, you can stop your vehicle before reaching the checkpoint, at a safe location outside the direct view of the checkpoint, and call us. One of our drivers will come to pick you up in our vehicle and bring you and your luggage to our property free of charge. In this case, you will only need to pay the government entrance fee for your vehicle 200 KGS, plus the applicable fee for the driver. You will not need to pay the entrance fee separately for every passenger travelling in your vehicle. For larger groups, this can be significantly cheaper than paying the individual entrance fee for every person in the car.

Why is this location so special? The environmental checkpoint exists because this is a protected natural area that needs to be preserved. You are not simply staying at a hotel next to a road you are entering a green mountain environment surrounded by trees, fresh air, natural water and beautiful landscapes. For many of our guests, the limited amount of urban infrastructure is actually one of the main attractions. You can wake up to the sound of a mountain river, step outside and see the mountains, spend an evening surrounded by trees and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere far away from the city. We recommend thinking of the environmental entrance fee as a small part of visiting a protected mountain area.
