***When you make a reservation, we ensure that no other guest are accepted, you will have the entire 1st floor and the pool exclusively to yourself!! *** Located on the serene Silk island, just a short ferry ride away from Phnom Penh, Silk Island Homestay offer a unique retreat to travelers who wants to experience the rural Cambodian life and to anyone looking to escape the busy city. Our first floor is completely independent and offers a large kitchen, a large terrace, a living room and has its own private entrance, the swimming pool is waiting exclusively for you just down the stairs in the garden !! Our home is a newly built and we've moved in during May 2021. We live down stairs while guests will have private upstairs' home (three rooms). Internet can be accessed via homeowner mobile Hotspot We accept payment via ABA Bank transfer. We do not have banking tool to charge your credit or Master/Visa Card. BBQ tray is available upon request. To come to our home, you need to cross the Mekong River by a ferry. Ferry fees are listed on the public board and it is cheap. Please see the property map.
We cook local food and we are happy to share with you. You are also welcome to come with us to the local market, and we can teach you how to cook Khmer food!!
Our neighbors are very friendly. They live based on agriculture activities. We buy vegetables and fish from the local people. The fish is caught from the Mekong River. Stay with us, help our local neighbors.
