Hello, I’m Dustin, your host at Pohang Legends Guesthouse. I’m an avid adventurer and outdoorsman who has called Pohang home for many years. When I first arrived, I fell in love with the perfect mix of beaches and mountains—the sunrise over Youngildae Beach, the trails through forested hills, and the vibrant energy of the city. Pohang felt like the right place to build a life, and it’s been my home ever since. I originally created this house as a place where my friends could stay whenever they came to visit. Over time, I realized I wanted to share it with more than just my close circle—I wanted to open it to travelers from around the world. That’s how Legends Guesthouse began. I also work as a tour guide, because nothing makes me happier than showing people the beauty, history, and hidden corners of this amazing country. Whether it’s exploring Gyeongju’s ancient temples, hiking a coastal trail, or just sharing a story, I love making people feel at home in Korea. The rooftop BBQ area is one of the features I’m most proud of. I built it so guests could have their own private space to relax, grill, and enjoy the sea breeze without interruption.
