After being born in Gyeongju and growing up in this neighborhood as a child, I opened lodging here in Gukdang Village.
There are many traditional hanok accommodations in Gyeongju, but we did our best to ensure that staying in a hanok built traditionally even inside, allowing guests to experience Korean tradition, would be remembered as a wonderful trip.
I hope this beautiful trip to Gyeongju becomes a wonderful memory.
Property info
Our accommodation is a very special place where you can experience a traditional Korean hanok. We will preserve as much of the old charm as possible, while the kitchen and other areas will be modernized to make it a very comfortable place to stay.
New Moon Room - Minimum 1 person, maximum 3 people. It is the room closest to the main gate and has a window. There is no kitchen for cooking, but simple meals are possible, and there is a bathroom and a dressing room.
Half moon room – minimum 1 person, maximum 3 people. It’s the second room from the main gate. There is no kitchen for cooking, but simple meals are possible, and there is a bathroom and a dressing room.
Full Moon Room - with a minimum of 1 person and a maximum of 6 people, it is the largest room in our accommodation, and it includes a kitchen with cooking facilities, a laundry room, a living room, a master bedroom, and two bathrooms. Barbecuing is allowed, and when using the barbecue, you must contact the owner in advance so that it can be prepared. There is an additional fee of 20,000 KRW for barbecue.
Entire house(Halfmoon+Newmoon+Fullmoon) - You can use our accommodation exclusively, and the maximum capacity is 12 people.
Neighborhood info
If you walk slowly along the embankment, you’ll see Woljeonggyo Bridge, and once you enter Gyo Village, there is Hwangridan-gil, famous among today’s younger generation.
Around it are many historic sites of Silla, the ancient capital of Gyeongju, and Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, famous for their beautiful night views.
Our accommodation is close to all of these things and is in a quiet neighborhood, so you can enjoy it very comfortably.
